This Cocoa butter is found in solid form below 30/35°, at 20° it is so hard that it can be grated. Store in a dry place, away from light and heat, like all oils and other vegetable butters.
This butter is rich in Omega 9 monounsaturated fatty acids, stearic acid and palmitic acid (saturated fatty acids), polyphenols, theobromine, caffeine, vitamin E and phytosterols. Cocoa butter is obtained from cocoa beans, which are contained in the pods growing on cocoa trees. Raw, unfiltered cocoa butter preserves and benefits from all the properties of this prime raw material!
