Wheat has been used by mankind since the beginning of the domestication of grasses in the Neolithic period. The production of oil from wheat is much more recent as it takes about 1000kg of wheat to produce 1L of wheat germ oil. The sprouts contain the entire life of the plant in germination, so it is a very rich oil from a dietary point of view. Wheat germ oil is the oil that contains the most vitamin E, also known as tocopherol.
Wheat germ oil is the oil par excellence for mature and dry skin. It is an anti-ageing ally allowing the skin to regenerate and fight against free radicals.
The benefits of wheat germ oil for the skin can be fully realised by using it internally.

Practical tips
Because of its high oxidising potential, it is preferable to make a preparation containing a maximum of 5 % of wheat germ oil.
To make it more penetrating, it can be mixed with other vegetable oils such as apricot, sweet almond, hazelnut.
You can also add 1 to 2 drops of germ oil to its skin care cream when applying it.
