Castor oil
Originating in Africa, castor oil is used for hair, nails and skin. Nourishing, moisturising and fortifying, this vegetable oil is a source of numerous benefits and will quickly become an essential part of your beauty routine. Known for thousands of years, castor oil is obtained by cold pressing castor seeds. Rich in vitamin E, fatty acids and minerals, this vegetable oil is a precious ally for hair care. Highly nourishing, it moisturises the scalp and leaves hair supple. It also encourages hair growth and strengthens the hair fibre. Be careful, however, not to apply it too often, to prevent the scalp from becoming accustomed to it. Ideally, alternate one month of application with one month without. Apply castor oil to your hair as a mask, concentrating on damaged lengths and ends twice a week. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes, then massage the scalp and shampoo. Castor oil can even be used as an anti-wrinkle treatment. Apply a few drops (no more than that to avoid clogging the pores) to the wrinkles on your face to stimulate the skin's production of collagen.
